My First Video

The idea of shooting and editing video was so foreign to me before I took my first Broadcast Journalism class at NYU. I was discouraged during the first few weeks of class. The camera was heavy. My hand kept shaking. I pestered a teacher to death because I didn’t know what I was doing on Final Cut. I had trouble writing a script. I couldn’t stuff all the information I wanted within the time limit. It was frustrating to say the least. So now, I’m going to show you the result of those first three weeks in my broadcast journalism class. I shot and edited this video in October of 2010. It’s the first video I’ve ever done in my life. Have mercy.

A little FYI: The video is about the Sukkah City architectural design competition, the twelve finalists and the winner.
